Network Marketing Made Simple
September 30, 2010 by stone · 2 Comments
While you might believe it is most simple to just buy leads or lists of prospects for your network marketing business, you must consider quality over quantity. When you are buying leads, whether by the penny or by the dollar, you likely will find that many of the eMail addresses are invalid for a couple reasons.
One reason buying leads or lists is not the best strategy is because these eMail addresses may not be nearly as ‘fresh’ as they are purported to be. The lists may have been sold numerous times and may just be ‘fresh’ to your supplier. They could actually be very old lists. Besides this fact, when they say the leads are ‘targeted’ or ‘interested’ this can be in a very general sense. For example a year ago someone may have inquired about XYZ company (who sold their list) or requested general information about the network marketing business. Neither of these two scenarios does you much good.
It would be a lot smarter and much more cost-effective for you to capture your own leads directly through your own efforts. That means the people who respond will be responding directly to your advertisement. Right up front this gives you an advantage of familiarity, not to mention they can still remember requesting information directly from you. There is no worse introduction to a sales presentation that having to explain where you got their name, particularly if they are really not happy to hear from you.
The way to generate your own network marketing leads is through leads portals. These are web pages that offer them something for free such as a report, survey, eBook, or even a small software application. They must ‘opt-in’ to receive your offer and this includes providing their eMail address and/or telephone number. You can send them what they requested and then continue to contact them about your offers.
A few points to be extra ethical and scrupulous would be to require the eMail address only and then ask permission to call them or offer to help them with a free one-on-one conversation to discuss their business plans. They would confirm that they want to speak to you by sending you their phone number. When you call they won’t say ‘Who???’.
The Balancing Act: Managing Multilevel Marketing and your ADHD Child
September 28, 2010 by stone · Leave a Comment
Anyone managing a multilevel marketing business will tell you it is a balancing act between family responsibilities and business necessities. Ask a parent with an ADD or ADHD child at home, and they will tell you just how precarious that balancing act can be without proper planning. The following ideas are designed to help you balance your business with the needs of a challenging child so that both thrive.
First, break your business responsibilities into as many small steps as possible. Just as a child with ADHD does better with small tasks that combine to achieve larger ones, your business can accomplish great things even as you divide them into quick, five minute tasks. Planning time, organization of calls to make, creation of new sales pitches, research on new cold call markets, and product research are all important steps to progress that can be done in moments of down time. Don’t expect long stretches of free time to achieve your business dreams if you are taking care of busy children, but don’t feel like you have to sacrifice your business either. Accept that the synergy of each small thing you do towards success creates a greater overall effect.
Second, when possible, consider working around your family’s schedule, rather that putting your business first. Putting your family first might seem like the right thing to do, but it is also the easier way to juggle your business responsibilities with your family. When your children are engaged in activities, you can feel free to plan, make calls, and work on new pitches. Use time when your kids are playing, eating dinner, doing chores, taking baths, or with their other parent.
Third, don’t be afraid to ask for help. More specifically, look for help. College students often make great part time nannies and cost a lot less. Hire someone for a few hours a few nights a week and you will find that you can accomplish much more than trying to juggle everything alone. Especially if you work a full time job in addition to your multilevel marketing position, this time to work on your business is essential. Many education majors actually have experience and need additional experience working with ADD children, so you are helping your nanny as much as they are helping you.
A family, particularly a challenging one, doesn’t have to mean the end of your business dreams. Learn to balance the demands by breaking up large tasks and goals, and you will achieve success while modeling helpful skills for your child.

People around the world are entering the MLM market, and just as many people are scratching their heads in wonderment that their MLM isn’t prosperous yet. Experts may offer hundreds of complicated reasons for this delay in success, but it really boils down to the three MLM secrets that you just can’t miss with. Read on to learn the three basic essentials to MLM success.
1. People do what they love.
People can put up with a job they hate for a certain period of time before their motivation and desire to succeed begin to wane. Once these characteristics begin to slip away, their job performance slowly slips, too. The key to lasting success is to understand that people do what they love. As you think of filling your MLM with successful associates, be diligent to screen out anyone who doesn’t have a passion for this line of work. Find energetic and dynamic people who really enjoy sales and talking to other people, and you will find success.
2. People use what they like.
Do you use any of the products your MLM sells? Do you invest in your own company because you really like what it has to offer? If your products aren’t really great, your success won’t be either. Your products provide a foundation for your company. Without solid products that people both need and enjoy, you foundation will crumble alongside your business.
3. People work with people they respect.
When people get out of a normal job for the freedom of an MLM, the last thing they want is another boss they hate. A super controlling boss or a hands-off boss aren’t going to inspire much company loyalty. Instead, be the kind of person that your staff can look up to. Communicate regularly, motivate them with incentives, and praise them for their success. This will inspire your people to do their best.
These secrets aren’t rocket science, but they are imperative for industry success. Put to work these three MLM secrets, and success won’t be far behind.
Generate More Sales With Your Internet Network Marketing
While many people often get involved with Internet network marketing, the greater majority of them will fail. The number one reason is they give up too soon. Their sales are coming in slowly and they lose their belief that it will all work out. Once this happens, it is very difficult to change their opinion. For this reason, it is important that you learn how to generate more sales quickly.
The only way to increase your sales is to generate more traffic to your Internet network marketing website. One effective method of accomplishing this is through article marketing. By publishing articles on topics that are pertinent to your business, you will generate more interest and your website domain name in your author’s resource box is going to lead them to your site.
While you may not want to invest anymore money into your business, you should invest in some paid advertising, as well. Pay per click advertising is a great way to generate more traffic very quickly. This will be a great opportunity to get your paid advertisement in front of your target market and those who will be interested in learning more.
Of course, another way to generate more sales in your business is to come up with something that is attention grabbing. Think free! Everyone wants to receive something for nothing. If you offer to give them something free, such as a free e-book, they will respond. You can then take the leads and work with them to secure more sales.
Generating more sales with your Internet network marketing is going to take some time and a lot of work. However, it can be done and many people become successful with it. The key is finding a niche that you are comfortable working in and learning about the various marketing strategies that can help you to achieve your goals.
Selling Yourself With Network Marketing Opportunities
September 25, 2010 by stone · Leave a Comment
Many people believe the products they sell through their network marketing business are the most important aspect of the business, but these people have it all wrong. While the products are important, the most important aspect of your business is you! When you enter into this industry, you have to be prepared to sell yourself to earn your customers’ trust, gain the trust of potential downline members, and keep your downline strong even in slow months. This can be a hefty task, but read on for tips to achieve the best sales pitch for your most important asset: you!
1. Communicate, communicate, communicate!
The biggest key to selling yourself is your communication. Talking to your customers about your products and keeping them abreast of any new research findings or changes in pricing can build trust between you and your customers. They will appreciate that you take the time to keep them abreast of current information.
2. Tell it like it is!
If you customer is looking to buy a product you know won’t fit their needs as well as something else in your line, tell them. Looking out for your customers’ needs is paramount to any sale, because it will build loyalty and lasting sales.
3. No such thing as too much training!
Provide personalized trainings often to your downline associates. If you see trends in their productivity, address them and work to correct the situation through additional training or support. This doesn’t mean you need to micromanage them, but it does mean you need to be available constantly for questions or concern.
These tips might seem like no-brainers, but many people overlook these simple principles in lieu of making a quick buck. For lasting success, sell yourself and you won’t be disappointed with the returns.
MLM Tips For a Business Keeps On Going
You may have noticed that many MLM companies come and go quicker than most weather patterns, but you may also still be in the thralls of your new business and unable to see that many people get into this industry inadequately prepared and quickly fail. Regardless of how new or excited you are about your company, there are a few MLM tips that help you to beat the odds and be the company that keeps on going into a bright and successful future.
First, look beyond your established friends and family for recruits and customers first. Your friends and family are essential to provide support, and they may show interest in your product or opportunity, but you can quickly damage relationships by making the hard sell to these people first. Instead, invest right away in services to provide you with leads, and practice your cold calls every day. This practice will help you get into the habit of networking and prospecting, which will ultimately feed your business much better than relying on your circle of influence.
Second, keep it fun! Set up contests for new associates that make them motivated to jump in and get invested in your opportunity. Get your associates together whenever possible, even if only utilizing technology like Skype, for them to learn one another and bond as associates. When you foster relationships and make your company fun to be a part of, you actually offset some of the pressure and stress this industry is known for and you increase your associates’ buy-in.
Third, always invigorate your business with new lifeblood. New associates, new customers, new offerings. Even if you just change the way you offer your services, it will provide an air of excitement and a chance to learn more that will help to keep your associates and customers from getting bored.
These MLM tips may not make you rich quick, but they are the best ways to enjoy your business, which is the key to longevity in a tough but lucrative industry.

The Number One Key to Successfully Working from Home

The Number One Key to Successfully Working from Home: Treat Your Business Like a Business
It can be so tempting to think when you are working from home you can set your own hours and come and go as you please. This becomes an even worse problem when friends and family members begin to intrude because they think you can do all their errands and babysitting for them because you don’t have a “real” job. This line of thinking is one of the primary reasons many people fail in their attempts to work at home. They do not understand that they cannot put their work aside to do errands or spend time at the beach and come back later. While there is nothing wrong with occasionally taking time away from work, you have to treat your business like you would a “real” job and understand any time you spend doing other things is work you must make up later.
If you are working from home, is there really a need to set regular hours? That depends on the type of work you are doing and whether you are the type of person who can still accomplish the same amount of work by doing a few hours at a setting. Some people are unable to sit for long periods and must take those breaks, and as long as you are able to still accomplish those daily goals your business will not suffer. However, there are some jobs you work at home that still require regular hours because there is a need for the home worker to communicate with the client when he or she is in the office.
The type of opportunity you choose for working from home has a substantial bearing on the way you treat your business. The main thing is to develop the mindset that this is no different than going to work every day except you are the boss and don’t need anyone’s permission if you need to leave early or come in late because of personal commitments. Treat your business as a business and not as a hobby and you will achieve the highest level of success.

The MLM industry is one that has been around for many years. While there is still a lot of debate on whether or not the industry is on the up and up, the fact is, the industry itself is, but many scams are often based on this concept. What you must do is not base your opinion on the potential for scams, but base your opinion on what the business of multi level marketing can do for you. The following are just three benefits to joining this industry:
Monetary Benefit
First and foremost, the right multi level marketing opportunity can allow you the chance to become financially independent. This business is a billion dollar industry and if you want a piece of the pie, start researching some of the opportunities available. Not only will you see that they can supply you with the income you need, you’ll find that with the right business and the determination to succeed, you could easily become financially free.
Personal Satisfaction
You must also realize that when you join this business, you will get a lot of personal satisfaction from owning and operating your own business. Imagine what it will feel like to get up in the morning, excited to go to work. This feeling alone is what makes it worth while for many people. Nothing can match the feeling you get when you own your own business.
Your Experience
Last, the business of multi level marketing will give you a wide variety of experiences that you could not get otherwise. When you own your own business, you will be dealing with finances, marketing, recruiting, organization, and management. Many of these are tasks that you would not get to do in a job outside the home. Instead of being scared of the tasks ahead of you, learn as much as you can and take advantage of the experiences offered to you.
Moms Working at Home: Creating a Professional Image
September 20, 2010 by stone · Leave a Comment
With more women deciding to stay at home with their children and choosing to work from home, as well, the typical stereotype of the modern business woman is changing. No longer is the business woman rushing out the door to get to work. Instead, they are talking on the phone while holding their two year old and making lunch for the others, all at the same time. However, what these moms working at home must realize is that they must still maintain a professional image in order to be successful.
One of the most difficult aspects of moms working at home is trying to get the job done with little ones in the home. What works for some women may not work for others. This means that you must figure out a way to make it work. It may be coordinating your telephone calls and more detailed work to be done during the children’s naptime or even, changing your work hours until after they have gone to bed or before they get up in the morning. Spend some time testing some ideas and you will find the best way for you to conduct your business.
Many of those women who choose to work out of their homes find themselves a little stressed out because of the variety of work to be done throughout the day. In one day, they could be doing laundry, dealing with two or three new clients, doing dishes, typing up a sales letter, changing diapers, proofing ad copy, and getting supper ready before giving the kids a bath. Those who are successful at this often find that creating a schedule for everything is the only way to get it all done. In other words, schedule yourself time to do laundry twice a week or spend one day cooking and freezing meals for the upcoming week. Organizing your home and work will help you to get everything done in a timely manner.
Moms working at home are actually the heroes of today. Not only are they managing their own business, but they are doing it while managing their homes and children. Unfortunately, it may be a little difficult to maintain a professional image when you do work from home, but it can be done with a little organizing and testing to find the right schedule.
