Oprius Contact Management Software Review

When it comes to organizing your network marketing and MLM business, one of the first things you have to consider is how to keep up with your downline and prospects. How do you remember what you’ve talked about? How do you remember when to follow up with your MLM leads?

I’ve come across an online contact manager called Oprius that is designed with network marketers and direct sales people in mind. Anyone who needs to keep track of prospects and contacts can benefit from a system like this.

Oprius is built with seven modules that work together to provide a complete system for keeping track of your downline and prospects.

Here is a description of each module and what it does.

HOME

This is where you can see an overview of your day. You will see your most recent incoming emails, tasks to be completed, calls you need to make, and appointments you’ve set up.

From here, you can quickly move to any other part of the application.

CONTACTS

In this section you can set up records for your downline associates and MLM leads. The beauty of this system is that it automatically keeps a record of everything you do with a contact. Incoming and outgoing emails are attached to each contact. Completed tasks and appointments can be noted with results if you want. You can store unlimited information about your contacts and quickly pull everything up from any screen.

From this section, you can also create lead capture pages that funnel to an autoresponder (all inside Oprius). If you already have a website, you can create a widget to encourage signups for your list.

CALENDAR

Your calendar will be used to schedule and define tasks you need to accomplish. If you talk to a prospect, and want to be sure and contact them again next week, put it on your calendar. Oprius will email you, or send a text message to your phone and remind you of any tasks you set up. No additional charge.

CALLS

This gives you an overview of upcoming calls and allows you to focus on each contact as you make the calls. You can schedule phone appointments on your calendar. When you’re ready to make the call just click the entry, and the contact’s history pops up along with any notes you’ve made. If you’re making an unscheduled call, click a link and a screen opens that allows you to quickly enter notes and attach to any of your contacts.

TASKS

The basic task list. Make a list of everything you need to do, and check them off when completed. Allows the usual sorting of tasks by priority and status.

EMAIL

This is an outstanding feature. You can set almost any email account to forward to Oprius. This will allow you to read your MLM business-related email directly inside Oprius, where it will automatically attach to your contacts for future reference. Replies you send are also attached.  From here you can also send personalized messages to groups of contacts if desired.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDER

This is perhaps the most exciting feature of Oprius. You can set up a plan for working and automatically following up your MLM leads. You can define a step-by-step process that will occur automatically.

For example, you could schedule a plan for all your MLM leads that would automatically:

Step 1: Send a “thank you” email when the lead is captured
Step 2: Seven days later: automatically send a follow up email
Step 3: Three days later: remind you to make a follow up phone call
Step 4: Seven days later: automatically send another follow up email

You can create a plan with whatever tasks make sense for your particular business and approach.

OVERALL EVALUATION

Pros:

- Free 30-day, fully functional trial
- low monthly cost for what you get
- accessible from any computer with an Internet connection
- no software to install and maintain
- easy to understand, very intuitive interface

Cons:

- monthly fee, you don’t own it
- to use the lead page generator, you need to supply sales copy
- must have an Internet connection to access everything

All in all, Oprius is well worth a try, especially given the full 30-day trial.
