Oprius MLM Contact Manager Update
June 7, 2009
Back in November, I did a review of the Oprius MLM Contact Management System, which is an online application for keeping track of your MLM business downline and prospects. At that time, I was using the 30-day free trial and finding Oprius to be quite useful and simple. However, I decided at that time not to move to Oprius just yet, as I had just invested in the latest version of ACT! and felt I should give it a fair trial.
Well, here is the reason for this update – I have now moved all my MLM contact management to Oprius. While I found that ACT! (and other similar applications I had tried) were excellent and more fully featured than what I really needed, I made the switch for a couple of reasons.
- I work on my desktop computer at home, my laptop while on the road, and occasionally on other computers as well. All the syncing necessary to keep emails and contact records updated got to be a real pain.
- ACT! and similar software, because it’s designed to do many different things that most people won’t use anyway, can be tricky to use at times. The volume of questions in their forum attests to that.
I really like Oprius because of it’s simplicity, and because it was clearly designed for MLM and network marketing professionals. It has what we need to get the job done.
Good news, too, for techies who like to have contact information on their phones. Oprius is currently beta-testing synchronizing contact information with Blackberry and other “smart phones”.
