Things like this take time, but you will normally spend most of your time doing them in the beginning.

Building the runway and getting the plane off the ground is the hardest part of your flight to success as a network marketer. Understand that you’ll have more frustration and obstacles to overcome in the beginning stages of your business.

You don’t have to change your whole life, or set aside big blocks of time to start your network marketing business successfully. If you’re working a full-time job and have a family to take care of, you can get started by gradually working your business activities into your daily life.

Look for opportunities to…

• take non-productive time and turn it into business building time (classic examples include giving up some TV time, or other things that are strictly entertainment)

• work your business into your everyday life (give cards or prospecting brochures to people you run into, and followup later)

Get a feel for your business and begin with an approach that works for your lifestyle. As your business begins to grow, you’ll naturally feel encouraged and may choose to change things in your life to accommodate more time for your business.

The point is, don’t get all stressed out in the beginning and think you have to put in a full-time effort to start a successful network marketing business. Start gradually as you are able, then make small changes as needed to grow your business where you want it to be.
